Hi, I’m Nicole

A qualified and registered counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). My passion lies in helping people reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Life can be complex, and navigating it often means facing both light and shadow. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, uncover your strengths, and address the unhealthy patterns that may be holding you back.

My approach draws from a mix of evidence-based therapies and holistic philosophies, including the balance and harmony inspired by Eastern practices. Yoga and my own healing journey taught me the importance of embracing both vulnerability and strength, an understanding that guides everything I do in counselling.

In-Person Sessions

For those near Byron Bay, I offer in-person counselling in a private room setting. This allows for a more traditional face-to-face experience in a comfortable, confidential quiet space.

Walk-and-Talk Nature Sessions

If you prefer a more immersive experience, we can take our session outside with walk-and-talk sessions in nature. Whether it’s a peaceful walk through the forest at Minyon Falls or along the serene beaches of South Golden, these sessions provide a grounding and reflective atmosphere.

Zoom Sessions

For clients out of the area or overseas, I offer online sessions via Zoom. This option provides flexibility, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home.

      Each session is tailored to your unique needs, focusing on your values, mental and emotional blocks, and aligning your life with your core purpose. The number of sessions depends on your goals. Some clients find clarity after one discovery session, while others benefit from deeper exploration over 5 or 10 sessions. We’ll discuss what feels right for you after your initial session.

      Are the sessions online or in-person?

      Do you work with NDIS clients?

      Yes, I work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients.       What if I’m unsure about committing to a plan?

      You can start with a one-off discovery session to get a feel for how we work together. If it’s a good fit, you can continue with a 5- or 10-session plan.

      What types of therapy do you use?

      I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). My approach is holistic and mindful, influenced by my background in yoga and Buddhist philosophy, offering a compassionate, trauma-informed and client-centred practice.

      Do you work with clients of all ages?

      Yes, I work with individuals of all ages, tailoring the sessions to meet your needs at any stage of life.

      Do you follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality?

      Yes, I follow strict ethical guidelines in accordance with PACFA. Confidentiality is a priority, though I have a legal duty of care to report risks of harm. Informed consent is obtained before we begin and I engage in regular supervision to ensure best practice.

      Is homework required between sessions?

      Yes, I may ask you to reflect, journal, or practice mindfulness between sessions to deepen your insights and continue progress.

      Are your services available internationally, and are they secure?

      Yes, I offer Zoom counselling services to clients, including those in the UK. My services are covered by professional indemnity insurance, and I follow strict data protection guidelines (like GDPR) to ensure confidentiality and security.
